GOVERNMENT SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL PAROL DISTRICT HAMIRPUR (HP)-177501

* The school saw the dawn of the day as District Board Primary School in 1957 . First student enrolled was Sh. Bhoomi Chand S/O Sh. Labh Singh VPO Parol.With the provincialisation of education it became Government Primary School w.e.f. 01.10.1957. The school was upgraded to Government Middle School in 1959. Sh. Mehar Chand Verma was the first Headmaster incharge of the middle school. In 1972 this school was upgraded to Government High School. Sh. Ishwar Dass Dhiman became the first headmaster of the high school.In 2000 this school got the status of Government Senior Secondary School. Sh. Hukam Chand Sharma became the first officiating Principal of this school.Sh. Kartar Singh Chauhan became the first Principal of this school in 2001.
LOCATION: GSSS PAROL is situated 17 km from District headquarter Hamirpur on Hamirpur-Mandi state highway on the right bank of KUNAH KHADD. in tehsil Bhoranj of Distict Hamirpur (HP)
